Green chilies
Chubb mackerel (ikan kembong)
Coconut (1/2 grated and 1/2
coconut milk)
Shallots, chopped
Ginger, chopped
Lemongrass, chopped
Salt to taste
A pinch of sugar |
Method :

Slit open the green chilies and remove the seeds.

Clean the fish and use a tablespoon to scrape out the flesh from the
bone and skin.

Pound the shallots, ginger and lemongrass until fine.

Add the fish and grated coconut with salt and sugar.

Mix well and stuff it into the chilies.

After filling all the chilies, boil in the coconut milk for 10-15
minutes.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
