Prawn Paste Saute Recipe

Vegetable oil
Onion, chopped
Garlic, chopped
Turmeric
Dried prawn paste
Tomatoes, quartered
Dried prawn powder
Green chilies, sliced
Tamarind liquid
Salt or to taste

Method :

Heat oil until
very hot.

Reduce heat to
medium and fry onion, garlic and turmeric until dark golden and nearly
sticking to the pan.

Add dried prawn
paste, tomatoes, prawn powder, green chilies and tamarind
liquid.

Stir and cook
until all the liquid has evaporated and oil separates from the mass.

Add salt to
taste.
